Autonomous Emergency Braking7
Designed to detect if the car in front suddenly stops or if a pedestrian steps onto the road, a Transit can automatically apply the brakes if you don’t react in time.
Maintain safe distance
Adaptive Cruise Control8 allows you to maintain a pre‑set speed and safe distance from the vehicle ahead of you. Once traffic clears, it returns to your cruising speed.

Transit Van and Bus offer birds‑eye, front view, and split‑view cameras for a full 360‑degree view around the vehicle for enhanced visibility.9
Intersection Assist
Designed to detect oncoming traffic when turning at an intersection and can apply the brakes to mitigate or help to avoid a collision.
Extra eyes on the road

1. Maximum cargo space for 430E Van. VDA is the method determined by filling the load space with ‘litre’ blocks, each measuring 200x100x50mm. The blocks are then counted and the numerical result is converted into cubic meters.

Subject to State and Territory regulations. To comply with these limits, any load transported by the vehicle may need to be restricted to not exceed the GCM and GVM limits. E-Transit is not capable of towing.
3. Maximum payload for 430E Van. Subject to State and Territory regulations. Payload is defined as the Gross Vehicle Mass minus the kerb weight. Payload is the maximum combined value of any load transported by the vehicle including but not limited to occupants, cargo, added options, added structures and tow ball download (when towing). GVM must not be exceeded.
